In 2025, Success On The Spectrum (SOS) proudly celebrates 10 years of impact and innovation. The company marks a full decade as the first autism treatment franchise in the United States.
Founded in 2015 by Nichole Daher in Houston, Texas, SOS has grown from one small clinic into a nationwide movement. Over ten years, it has become a trusted name in autism therapy, known for its compassion and transparency.
The SOS story began with a personal challenge. Nichole Daher’s stepdaughter, who is on the autism spectrum, was repeatedly denied treatment. Many centers had strict age limits or long waitlists. This left her family feeling helpless.
Instead of accepting those barriers, Nichole took action. She envisioned a therapy model that welcomed every child and supported parents too.
In 2015, she opened two Success On The Spectrum clinics in Houston. These centers offered ABA, Speech, and Occupational Therapy under one roof. From the beginning, Daher’s mission was clear — help every child reach their potential through patience, play, and purpose.
Each SOS clinic is built with intention. Every room serves a unique developmental goal.
The Mock Classroom helps children practice learning in a school-like setting.
The Art Room teaches sharing and fine motor skills through creativity.
The Life Skills Room includes a kitchen, laundry area, and grocery setup. Children learn independence through real-life practice.
The Social Room fosters teamwork through play and group games.
The Sensory Room provides a calming environment where children can manage overstimulation.
Most importantly, every SOS center includes Parent Viewing Rooms. These allow families to watch therapy sessions live. This transparency helps parents feel involved and learn strategies they can use at home.
In 2018, Nichole Daher expanded her vision even further. She transformed SOS into a national franchise model. This bold move broke traditional healthcare norms.
Through franchising, local entrepreneurs could open SOS clinics in their own cities. Each location received full support — including corporate training, business coaching, and twice-yearly Quality Assurance audits.
Today, more than 54 SOS clinics operate nationwide, with many more coming soon. Top-performing owners earn membership in the Commodore’s Club, where they receive exclusive perks and mentor new franchisees.
As demand for autism services continues to grow, SOS is investing in the future. The company partners with major universities to serve as an approved practicum site.
SOS also offers paid BCBA internships and in-house certification programs. These initiatives help students build meaningful careers while completing their education.
In 2022, the International Forum of Advancements in Healthcare recognized SOS as one of the Top 50 Companies for developing career pathways in behavioral health.
Over the past ten years, Success On The Spectrum has changed thousands of lives. Families report major progress in communication, independence, and confidence.
In 2024, Healthcare Business Review named SOS the Top ABA Service Provider of the year. This honor reflected its strong results and family-first philosophy.
SOS also launched its Community Outreach Program, hosting free social events for children with autism. These include Autism Proms, Festivals, and Parents’ Nights Out.
“Every child should enjoy activities without fear or judgment,” says Nichole Daher. “We’re creating moments they’ll never forget.”
That same year, Daher earned the Houston Humanitarian Award for her leadership and compassion.
As Success On The Spectrum celebrates 10 years, Daher and her team are just getting started. Their mission remains clear — expand access to quality autism therapy for every family in need.
“Ten years ago, we started with a dream,” Daher reflects. “Today, we’ve built a movement that changes lives daily.”
As SOS enters its next decade, it continues to prove that empathy, innovation, and community can redefine autism care. With each new clinic, the company brings hope and healing to more families across America.
