Success On The Spectrum (SOS), founded in 2015 by Nichole Daher, has become a leader in addressing these challenges. This approach addresses the limitations of profit-driven private equity firms that dominate the autism treatment market. “Our mission is to create more access to care and set a quality standard that parents will demand,” Daher explains. By doing so, SOS hopes to influence the broader industry and raise the bar for autism care nationwide.

In addition to offering therapy services, SOS invests in community outreach programs that promote acceptance and celebrate milestones for individuals with autism. Their sensory-friendly events provide safe and welcoming environments where individuals with autism and their families can engage in activities without the barriers or discomfort often posed by traditional settings.

One such initiative is the annual Houston Autism Prom. Scheduled for April 8, 2025, at Seismique, the seventh annual Houston Autism Prom will welcome over 400 attendees for a night of inclusion and joy. This sensory-friendly event, held during Autism Acceptance Month, offers a unique opportunity for individuals on the spectrum and their families to come together in a supportive and celebratory environment.

To amplify the impact of this event, SOS has invited actor Sylvester Stallone, and his autistic son, Seargeoh to prom. This autism dad and advocate for inclusion has long been vocal about the need for awareness and understanding. “When you want to promote a mission, having a celebrity behind it can be far more effective,” says Daher. SOS hopes Stallone’s presence will draw attention to its mission and inspire greater community involvement.

The company’s efforts extend beyond therapy and events — they aim to foster a sense of belonging and acceptance for individuals with autism. SOS’s free, sensory-friendly events provide families with safe spaces to engage in otherwise inaccessible activities. These events celebrate milestones while creating environments where individuals on the spectrum can interact without fear or judgment. “Our community outreach program is about creating a world where individuals with autism feel accepted and valued,” Daher explains. This holistic approach—blending therapy, outreach, and advocacy—makes SOS unique in the autism treatment industry.

“You know, it creates a world where they belong, and they can feel accepted as opposed to the general public being judgmental and possibly a little bit dangerous because the environment’s not made for them,” says Daher.
